For today only, Amazon has dropped the price on a popular Hoover upright vacuum to just $74.99, from $139.

The Hoover WindTunnel 3 Pro Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum (model number UH70931PC) has a powered brushroll that the user can turn on and off when switching between carpet and hardwood floors, and comes with a boatload of pet-friendly attachments, including a pet turbo tool for furniture and stairs, and a pet upholstery tool for furniture.

There’s only one problem: We haven’t tested this vacuum, and it does have a ton of negative user reviews. On Hoover’s own website, 43 percent of owners give the product one star. Many users report the vacuum breaking after only a few months, and even some two- and three-star reviews mention the overall flimsiness of the product.

Still, many of those folks may have paid full price for this vacuum. At just $74.99, those flaws are apparently a bit easier to overlook—which may explain why user reviews on Amazon are generally more positive.
