What to bring to the Super Bowl 2024
To fend off germs
A face mask
The Super Bowl will be held during February, which is typically the height of flu season. COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) should all be treated as potential threats to your Super Bowl experience. The best way to combat them is by masking up with a couple of KN95 or N95 masks, which are the golden standard when it comes to protective gear.

Stay healthy throughout your trip to Vegas with a face mask.
Hand sanitizer
It’s safe to say you’ll have some good grub at the Super Bowl, but one of the easiest ways to acquire an illness is by ingesting germs when you eat, so it's simply good form to make sure you wash your hands before you chow down. It's understandable if you don't want to get up to the bathroom every time a hotdog or nacho vendor comes by, so you can disinfect your hands in a pinch with travel-sized hand sanitizer.

Make sure to sanitize your hands before eating a stadium hotdog.
To travel comfortably
Carry-on luggage
Whether traveling by plane or by car to the Super Bowl, you'll want to efficiently pack everything you plan on bringing to Las Vegas. You’ll need a bag with enough room for the jerseys, foam fingers, and other products you need to show off your team spirit. One of the best carry-ons to buy is the Travelpro Crew VersaPack Global Carry-On Expandable Rollaboard thanks to its excellent build quality.

A quality carry-on is a must-have for any trip.
A water bottle
You might find yourself with a long flight (or long layover), or perhaps dehydrated from Super Bowl festivities. In any case, you’ll want to pack a bottle of water to quench your thirst. If you need a new water bottle, consider picking up the Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle, the best water bottle we've tested. It features a leakproof lid, multiple drinking options, and premium insulation.

Stay hydrated throughout your trip.
A travel pillow
No matter if you're spending hours on a bus, train or plane, one sad fact remains constant: it's not your bed. Trying to sleep while sitting upright can be very uncomfortable and lead to painful cricks in your neck. We recommend bringing a travel pillow, particularly the Cabeau Evolution Classic Travel Pillow, which we found to be the best out of all the travel pillows we tested because of its amazing support and durability.

Never deal with a travel nap-induced sore neck again.
To enjoy the game
Binoculars
One advantage to watching the Super Bowl at home is that the film angles let you clearly see every play. While watching the game in person can be more exciting, you'll have to put more work into it, especially if you have a seat in the nosebleed section. We recommend bringing along a good pair of binoculars so you can see the action no matter where you're sitting. The Nikon Aculon A211 10-22x50 is one of the best binoculars you can buy. While it’s a bit heavy, it offers 10 to 22 times magnification and boasts a large, 50mm diameter.

Never miss a detail with these binoculars.
Earplugs
One of the best things about watching sporting events live is experiencing the excitement unfiltered by a screen. The Super Bowl is sure to be a boisterous event, and perhaps a bit too boisterous if you're sensitive to loud noise. With a quality pair of earplugs, you can still enjoy the Super Bowl without feeling overwhelmed or damaging your eardrums. Loop Earplugs are effective at dampening sound to a more manageable level without outright muting it.

These earplugs will make the game much more manageable if you're sensitive to sound.
A portable charger
It seems no matter how much care you put into charging your phone, your battery is always on the verge of dying. Because of this, you'll want to bring a charged portable battery with you so you can focus on the game (and snapping great phone pictures) instead of your phone's charge. The Mophie Powerstation PD is our favorite portable charger thanks to its compact size and fast charging time. You'll have no problem keeping your phone charged all through the game with the Mophie Powerstation in your pocket.

You'll want to keep your phone charged throughout your trip.
Team apparel
Don’t show up to the Super Bowl in person if you're not dressed to impress in your favorite team's apparel. When it comes to sports merch, there's nothing quite as ubiquitous as a jersey displaying the logos and colors of your favorite player. You can wear a team hat to complete the outfit or wear it solo for a more low-key look.

Show your team spirit with a jersey.
How to watch Super Bowl 2024 at home
If you can't (or just don't want to) make it to watch the game in person, you can enjoy the Super Bowl from the comfort of your home. You can watch the game live on streaming platforms such as Hulu and Paramount+.
To upgrade your game day view, you'll want to make sure you have a quality, high-definition television, such as our favorite TV, the LG C3. We love the C3 for its breathtaking picture quality, including great contrast and vivid colors.

Watch the big game on a great television.
