If you're looking to give an old TV an IQ boost, the Roku is the best way to do it. And unless you've got a 4K TV, the Roku 3 is the most affordable of the bunch that still gives you premiere features like voice search and a remote with a headphone jack.

The Roku is still our favorite streaming platform for most people, because it plays nicely with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO Go, and any other streaming service you're into. The included remote has dedicate buttons for the most popular options, a headphone jack for built-in wireless listening, and voice search to help you navigate the interface even faster.
One thing to be aware of is that this TV doesn't do 4K. For that you'll want to pick up a Roku 4, which you can get for about $115 these days.
