Dish Announces Virtual Joey Functionality on LG Smart TVs at CES 2014

Dish announced a special app for LG Smart TVs today at International CES, giving users virtual Joey functionality.

The Dish app will be exclusive to LG Smart TVs. Users with an existing Hopper and Dish subscription can use the new app on LG Smart TVs and access all their DVR and live TV content without a physical Joey unit. The main Hopper set-top box is required, though.

LG Smart TV owners with 2013 and 2014 models can expect the new Dish app to arrive this spring.
