Among the wide array of brands that got a moment of precious screentime during Super Bowl LVIII was Skechers. Specifically, the Skechers Slip-ins, which got their moment in the spotlight in one of the best Super Bowl 2024 commercials we saw, starring Mr. T.
Viewers got a taste of the footwear brand's slide-in shoe line, delivered by "The A-Team" star Mr. T and football announcer Tony Romo. The duo linked up to explain that while there isn't a "T" in Skechers (a common misconception), Mr. T is often in Skechers. And when he is, seemingly he's in Skechers Slip-ins.
What are Skechers Slip-ins?
Mr. T showed off the wide lineup of Skechers Slip-ins in the brand's 2024 Super Bowl ad.
The Skechers Slip-in line are designed to be hands-free, meaning you can slip into the shoes without relying on laces, or tugging them on to secure them. They come in a wide array of styles, including newer versions that feature more cushioning and sleek, sporty silhouettes.
Which Skechers was Mr. T wearing?
Mr. T steps into several pairs of Skechers Slip-ins throughout the Super Bowl ad, including the sporty Max Cushioning Premier shoes, the Max Cushioning Advantageous shoe in blue, the preppy Delson 3.0 Roth shoe, and the RF: Equalizer 5.0 Standpoint shoe in red.
The Slide-in Skechers range in price from around $80 for the Delson 3.0 shoes to $110 for the sportier, memory foam Max Cushioning Premier shoes.
