Rothy’s and Evian launched sustainable tennis-inspired styles just in time for the US Open

Energized by tennis legend Serena Williams' recent retirement announcement and the upcoming US Open 2022, sustainable accessory brand Rothy's, a brand we've tested in the past, teamed up with Evian water to serve up their own looks. True to Rothy's commitment to sustainability and circularity, the label worked with Evian to collect 72,000 empty water bottles from New York's largest tennis tournament last year and repurposed them into soft, washable thread for the collection. The partnership allows Rothy's to get one step closer to its lofty goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2023 (Evian has claimed that they aim to be carbon neutral by 2025), while bringing attention to the staggering amount of plastic waste at sporting events and abroad.

Rothy's x Evian knit the recycled threads into its limited-edition collection of tennis shoes and accessories, including two pairs of sneakers made with Rothy's signature washability, a cap and visor, and a truly luxurious racket bag designed to tote your equipment to the green in style.
