Finding the right mix of comfort, style, and support in intimates and shapewear can be difficult, especially if your body type doesn’t fit standard sizes. High-end shapewear and intimates can often cost hundreds of dollars, making it an impractical choice for many shoppers.
SheCurve aims to cater to diverse body types with figure-flattering silhouettes. The brand promises high-quality, stylish shapewear designed to enhance and celebrate different shapes and sizes. But does their lingerie really deliver on comfort, support, and durability? I decided to put SheCurve to the test. I tried several of their items, focusing on how they felt throughout the day, the level of support they provided, and how well they complemented my midsize body and growing pregnancy bump.

What I like about SheCurve
We found SheCurve to be incredibly flattering so need to worry about ill-fitting undergarments.
The fit is flattering and true to size
As I’m currently pregnant, one of my biggest issues is the fact that none of my bras, underwears, or leggings fit me anymore. My goal when testing pieces from SheCurve was comfort, support, durability, and how well they looked against my growing body. I’m already a midsize woman, so it was important to me to find something that made me feel sexy in my body.
I was pleased that everything fit me exactly as I hoped it would. I was excited that the bras fit my new cup size perfectly. There was no extra spillage and I felt incredibly supported by the wires. The pieces were flattering and molded to my body rather than pinching my fat and making me feel stuffed. The two pairs of underwear I tested fit great, especially around my baby bump. I was worried they wouldn’t or that they’d be uncomfortable, but the seamless design is incredibly comfortable.
The Ultra-Soft Stretchy Maternity Yoga Shorts also fit well around my hips and thighs. There is still a bit of extra space in the stomach area, but this is because my baby bump is still growing. The material was soft to the touch, especially around my stomach. They also didn’t pinch around my waist or thighs.
The prices are more affordable than similar brands
At just $37, the SheCurve Push Up Smoothing Bra delivers impressive lift and support without breaking the bank, compared to more expensive bras like the Skims push-up bra ($56). Similarly, the SheCurve Full Support Non-Slip Convertible Bandeau Bra at $36 is comparable to the Soma Enbliss Strapless Bra ($62) for half the price.
The underwear pieces, such as the Seamless Hipster Underwear No Show Panties are similar to the Bombas No Show Hipster ($20). The most noticeable comparison I found was with the SheCurve Ultra-Soft Stretchy Maternity Yoga Shorts, which ring in under $20. SheCurve’s competitive pricing allows expectant mothers to enjoy stylish and comfortable maternity wear without overspending, making it easier to invest in a full wardrobe that adapts to their changing bodies.
The pieces feel supportive and high-quality
The construction of each item I tested reflects attention to detail, ensuring that comfort and support are top priorities. The SheCurve Push Up Smoothing Bra, for instance, provides a flattering lift while maintaining a seamless look under clothing. Despite some discomfort with the underwire over extended periods (more on that below), the overall support and fit are impressive. Additionally, the non-slip technology of the SheCurve Full Support Non-Slip Convertible Bandeau Bra is a standout feature, providing the necessary support to feel secure all day.
The bottoms offer a seamless, comfortable fit with soft materials that feel gentle against the skin. These panties provide a smooth silhouette, eliminating visible panty lines. The materials used in these pieces are breathable and durable, ensuring that they maintain their shape and comfort over time.
What I don’t like about SheCurve
The additional cup support in SheCurve doesn't come without a bit of discomfort.
The bras were not super comfortable
While the underwear and the maternity shorts were incredibly comfortable, I found the bras were a different story. The push-up smoothing bra features wide wings with several hook closures in the back, similar to that of a corset. The bra provided exceptional support and push for my breasts, and the wide design provides extra smoothing around my back area. However, the underwire was incredibly uncomfortable. I found the wire stabbing my ribs after all-day wear.
The bandeau was similarly supportive considering it’s strapless, but again I found a lot of discomfort around my ribs while wearing it. This could be because they’re supposed to provide push-up support or that I needed to size up on the band size. The bra itself did not budge, but next time I’d likely opt for one of SheCurve’s other bras designed without wires, like the SheCurve Daily Comfort Wireless Shaper Bra.
Their size range is inconsistent throughout the products
Although SheCurve aims to provide clothing for diverse body types, most of its products top out at a women’s size XL or 2XL. Some of their shapewear is available in a women’s size 3XL, but I would expect a modern company to offer extended sizes as well. The maternity shorts I tested go up to XL, which is the size I chose. If I was any larger, I wouldn’t be able to buy most of SheCurve’s underwear, shorts, or leggings. Likewise, I noticed some bras go up to size J, while others only go up to F (EEE).
Is SheCurve worth it?
Ditch those old, worn undergarments for a fresh set of SheCurve ones—you won't be disappointed.
Yes, if you’re looking for flattering shapewear and intimates.
SheCurve is definitely worth it if you’re looking for flattering shapewear and intimates that combine comfort and quality. The brand has successfully created pieces that cater to a range of preferences and comfort levels. Their commitment to providing supportive, high-quality garments at accessible prices really sets them apart from other lingerie brands.
Affordable and flattering shapewear and underwear that is comfortable and supportive.
