Many of us like to write positive affirmations in our journals, listen to podcasts on positive thinking, and read personal development books. With mental health being an important topic, it’s no surprise so many people want to heal and grow in order to live their best life possible. In addition to these common practices, there is another way to feel your best all day long: by using bracelets engraved with uplifting reminders.
Presently bracelets aim to help you feel better mentally while adding extra style to your everyday look.
The brand designed these bracelets to help those with anxiety and OCD work directly through their doubts and fears on their healing journeys. I have been wearing the Dalmatian Gemstone Bracelet and Silver Macrame Bracelet for a few weeks, and it’s safe to say I never want to take them off. Here’s why.

What is Presently?
Presently is a bracelet brand founded by two sisters with OCD and anxiety. Their mission is to help individuals work through their anxiety by engraving authentic quotes into each bracelet, such as, “It’s okay to feel how I feel” or, “Brave the uncomfortable.”
These reminders are influenced by Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, a psychological treatment that teaches individuals how to control their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The affirmations in these bracelets are effective for those with anxiety or OCD, because they promote happy thoughts and growth throughout the day for those who wear them.
What I like about Presently Bracelets
The bracelets are comfortable, elegant, and inspiring.
They are comfortable to wear
Unlike bulkier jewelry, you don’t even feel like you’re wearing Presently bracelets. Their nylon-threaded material is silky-soft and lightweight, making them easy to wear all day long. Plus, they have a universal fit, meaning they’re able to adjust to multiple wrist sizes. What’s more, they don’t feel fragile, so I get the sense that they’ll last for multiple years.
They have an elegant style
These bracelets have the perfect amount of gems without feeling flashy. The ones I tested have a very subtle color, so they don’t overpower my wrist. The light gray threads and black and white beads make it easy to match them with every outfit, although there are other designs and color options available, such as this Baby Blue Beaded Bracelet or this Rainbow Beaded Gemstone Bracelet. What’s more, their small size makes it easy to fit my watch and hair elastics on my wrist as well.
Their engraved reminders are inspiring
The best part about these bracelets is, of course, the engraved phrases and the message behind each one. There are a number of inspiring phrases that you can choose from, such as, “I am separate from my mind,” or “I let go of what I can't control.” During the day, you can refer to your bracelet whenever you’re feeling low or anxious, and that’s the best thing about them.
What I dislike about Presently Bracelets
The bracelets can be hard to adjust.
They’re difficult to put on
When I first pulled these bracelets out of the drawstring pouch that they come in, I found it difficult to loosen them and slide on my wrist. To adjust them, you have to pull the threads in order to make them wide enough to put on. Then there’s the hard part, which is to tighten them. The easiest way to do this is by having someone else pull each side of the thread, but that means you’d need someone available at all times, which isn’t always the case. If it’s just you, then I suggest holding one side of the thread down with your finger and pulling the other side, but this process can be a hassle.
It’s no secret that those with more complex physical conditions could be more prone to anxiety and other mental health issues. But, if the wearer has a disability that impacts their dexterity, using this otherwise positive product could prove more stressful than illuminating.
The strings hang off your wrists
Once you’ve got the bracelets adjusted comfortably around your wrist, both sides of the threads dangle. Personally this isn’t a deal breaker for me, but they would definitely look a lot cleaner without the hanging strings. The larger your wrists, the less they will dangle.
Are Presently bracelets worth the buy?
Wearing positive reminders on my wrist keeps me in a positive headspace.
Yes, most definitely
It’s clear that each of these bracelets is crafted with love and care. Not only do they come in multiple colors and designs, they are also classy and comfortable to wear. Plus, wearing positive reminders on my wrist keeps me in a positive headspace throughout the day. If you’re still unsure about purchasing one or more of these bracelets, just remember it’s OK to “embrace uncertainty.”
