Casper has become one of the most popular mattress brands around with its Original Mattress receiving thousands of 5-star reviews. The brand is praised by many, including our own Editor in Chief. Casper’s mattresses are on the pricier side, though—a queen version of the Original Mattress will cost you $1,295. Just like The Original Mattress, The Casper promises a cooling sensation to prevent overheating at night along with the comfort included in The Original for a lower cost. However, The Casper doesn’t seem to have the Zoned Support of The Original, which divided the foam into three zones that help to relieve pressure and align the spine.
It may offer as much comfort as The Original
The Casper is made with the same Casper Supportive Foam that’s meant to soothe you to sleep along with premium memory foam that conforms to your body to help absorb pressure. We liked that The Original wasn’t overly bouncy—its medium firmness is meant to provide the perfect balance of plushness and firm support, and The Casper seems to offer the same perk.
It may be just as cooling as The Original
Both The Casper and The Original are equipped with AirScape Technology, which includes thousands of perforations in a breathable foam that channels away heat and humidity to allow you to keep cool and sleep comfortably at night. This feature comes in handy for those who tend to overheat at night, especially during the warmer months.

A great bonus you can get for buying The Casper Mattress is free sleep accessories. The purchase of a twin mattress includes a free Original Casper Pillow, which normally goes for $65, along with the white Percale Sheet Set, which starts at $109.
