Editor's Note:

Samsung's NE59J760SS (MSRP $999) features a five-burner electric cooktop with multi-ring burners, along with an extra-large 5.9 cu. ft. oven with true convection and a steam self-clean cycle. All of these features are hard to find in a package that sells for less than $1,000.

That's why the NE59J7630SS is such a good deal. We found it on sale for about $750. Even better: Our tests confirm the cooktop—especially that tri-ring burner—can handle almost any recipe, as it dutifully applies very high or very low heat for searing or simmering. Plus, you shouldn't have to wait longer than five minutes for a pot of water to boil.

Down in the oven, the true convection fan helps to bake cookies and cakes evenly. Standard baking without convection isn't perfect, but this is still an above-average oven.
