Last month, Best Buy recalled over a quarter million Insignia air fryers, citing safety concerns regarding overheating, which can cause the handles to melt and its glass to shatter. This is the most recent air fryer recall over the past few years. Across Insignia (which also saw an air fryer recall in April 2022), Empower Brands, Secura, Cosori, and Magic Chef, over 3 million air fryers have been recalled in the past two years.
