Not familiar with the app? Headspace is an incredibly popular meditation app, with more than 30 million users in more than 190 countries. It’s filled to the brim with beginner-friendly meditations as short as one minute and as long as two hours, as well as a "basics" program that teaches meditation fundamentals.
Beyond its ease of use and adjustable meditation lengths, the app also offers users different kinds of meditation. Looking to de-stress? There’s a meditation for that. Hoping to dial in on your focus? Yup, there’s one for that, too. Heck, there’s even a whole category dedicated to sleep meditations. (No wonder we named Headspace as our top pick in our roundup of the best meditation apps of 2021!)
The basic meditations can be streamed for free, but to enjoy all Headspace has to offer, you need a membership. Normally, an annual Headspace membership costs $69.99 (or you can opt for monthly at $12.99), but you can get the "best deal of the year" today and sign up for either 60% off a monthly plan at $4.99 or 50% off annual plan for $34.99.
One Reviewed writer, who has difficulty sitting still and focusing her mind, tried Headspace, she said it changed her wellness journey altogether.
“If Headspace can convert a skeptic like me, I’m convinced others will enjoy its effective, beginner-friendly sessions, as well as other offerings such as sleep-inducing bedtime stories and guided movement ‘workouts’ that incorporate mindfulness in at-home strengthening and yoga poses,” she said. “For people who struggle to get peace from a restless mind (or body), Headspace is a well-rounded meditation app with an abundance of diverse, high-quality content.”
After a week of rushing around prepping for the holidays, traveling, cooking, and getting back into a routine, a little peace sounds heavenly.
