Fuji fans: say hello to new wide-angle glass. In an announcement today, Fuji released a new weather-sealed X-mount lens, the XF 16mm F1.4 R WR, for its bevy of APS-C cameras.

The Fuji XF 16mm F1.4 R WR offers Fuji users a compact weather-sealed wide-angle lens with a very wide maximum aperture. Additionally, the XF 16mm F1.4 R WR can block dust, and withstand temperatures down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit.
Under the hood, the XF 16mm F1.4 R WR has 13 elements in 11 groups, along with a nano-coating to combat flaring and ghosting. On top of that, a 9 bladed aperture can be operated via the manual control ring at the base of the lens.
If you're itching to give this lens a go, the XF16mmF1.4 R WR will hit shelves in May 2015 for $999.95.
