Keychron has long been one of the coolest mechanical keyboard manufacturers out there, thanks in large part to its huge selection of keyboard models, modern features, and the fact that it's constantly iterating on its models. At CES 2025, some new Keychron keyboards were unveiled, making even more choices for those who want something that isn't currently being offered.
The new models come hot off the heels of a number of new products from Keychron, including products in categories that it hasn’t played much in yet, like mice.
Lemokey P1 HE QMK
The first big launch for Keychron at CES 2025 comes in the form of the Lemokey P1 HE QMK. Lamoke is Keychron's gaming brand, and the new keyboard is designed for gamers who want to be able to adjust key sensitivity more easily. That's because the keyboard offers Hall effect switches that use magnetic sensing to detect how far a key has been pressed. This means that you can actually set exactly when it will register a key press or even select different functions depending on how hard you press the key.
This version is a 75% layout keyboard that offers both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connectivity. It can be used in wired or wireless modes, and having seen it on the show floor at CES 2025, I found that it looks great.
Keychron Q6 HE
The other big launch for Keychron at CES comes in the form of the Keychron Q6 HE. The Q6 HE is a full-size keyboard that also makes use of Hall effect switches for a more customizable typing experience. While this keyboard isn't necessarily built for gamers—instead, being designed for users who simply want a better typing experience—it can still be used for gaming and has all the same customization features. It also offers Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connectivity and can be used in a wired mode when desired. Given the fact that it's full-size, it's built for those who want a number pad as well.
Coming soon
On top of the keyboards that the company actually launched at CES 2025, it also announced some new products, including both keyboards and other peripherals.
For starters, there's the new M3 and M6 mice, which have been upgraded to offer 8K polling rates and a 3950 sensor. Keychron says that these mice offer the ability to scan through glass surfaces and are customizable by the Keychron Launcher.
On top of that, the Lomokey L5 HE 8K features a full-metal keyboard with magnetic switches, an 8K polling rate, and more.
It's a great selection of new products from Keychron and, as mentioned, complements an already massive lineup of keyboards and other accessories. Having personally used a number of different Keychron keyboards in the past, I can safely say that they're an excellent choice for those who want a mechanical keyboard but don't necessarily know where to start. They're highly versatile and offer a range of great features, and it's nice to see the company continuing down that line.
