I used to make all kinds of delicious confections with my Easy Bake Oven, a toy that cooks with light. Whether it was whoopie pies or red velvet cakes, I constantly jumped from one recipe to the next as a kid. I guess you could say I was driven by the need to challenge myself and accomplish something. Now that I'm an adult with a gazillion responsibilities, I don't always have the time to bake, leaving me feeling unfulfilled. Thankfully, this unique oven simplifies the cookie making process, which is perfect for someone like me.
CHiP is a smart oven that bakes scrumptious cookies in under 10 minutes. In other words, it's a perfect device for people on the go. All you have to do is scan the dough pod with your phone, drop the ball of raw dough into the oven, and press start. The intuitive mobile app sends you notifications when your cookies are done, and you can even order dough on it as well. You don't have to worry about cleanup, time, or temperature.
There's not much information out yet, but the Kickstarter campaign seems to be going strong. SideChef, the brains behind this product, is definitely jumping on the smart kitchen trend. You can get CHiP for $99, but there's limited availability, so pledge soon!
