Maintaining a backyard is no easy task—from lawn maintenance to pruning, pool skimming to weeding, it can result in hours of backbreaking work. If you’re spending all your time maintaining it and not enjoying it, what’s even the point? So your neighbors don’t give you weird looks and your HOA doesn’t fine you?

Aiper wants to make chores easier for homeowners so they can spend less time maintaining and more time enjoying. Following their award-winning robotic pool cleaners, this industry-leader is releasing more smart backyard gadgets. From a robotic lawn mower with wireless boundary setup to a water-saving smart sprinkler, the future of smart yards is strong.

Horizon U1

The Horizon U1 aims to simplify the setup processes used by other robotic lawn mowers. With wireless boundary setup through the Aiper app, RTK technology, and an Intertial Navigation System, the device can provide precise location estimates—down to the centimeter. AI-enhanced algorithms and advanced animal recognition effectively calculates the distance between the Horizon U1 and animals or other items in your yard to effectively avoid obstacles. This device also requires minimal supervision and will return to the charging dock autonomously if the battery drops while mowing. Once it returns to 80%, it will resume duties as normal.

IrriSense

The IrriSense smart irrigation system is the industry’s first sprinkler that simulates natural rainfall with its precision nozzle. Setup is easy and allows for hands-free watering without worry since the Aiper app allows you to pre-program watering areas and schedule sprinklers. Once irrigation zones are set, IrriSense will handle watering autonomously, giving you time to sit back and smell the roses. With precision watering from the customized lawn map, you could save up to 13,500 gallons of water annually.
