Best Exercise Bike
Peloton Bike+

When it comes to exercise bikes, you can’t beat Peloton. The brand’s exercise programming is top notch and there are endless live and pre-recorded classes to choose from. The bike’s auto follow function allows you to match your instructor’s resistance without fiddling with any knobs or buttons, and its rotating screen makes it easy to take off-bike workout sessions. While Peloton displays all the metrics you could possibly want next to its famed leaderboard, you can customize your screen to hide the leaderboard if you find it overwhelming. Between Peloton’s classes and the bike’s quality, the Bike+ simply can’t be beat for spin workouts.

Best Yoga Mat
Lululemon The Mat 5mm

Lululemon’s The Mat 5mm is everything you could want in a yoga mat. It may seem firm at first, but it proves to have just the right amount of cushion to remain comfortable under your joints without leaving you susceptible to wobbling out of tricky poses. The top side of the Mat is flat polyurethane while the base is made of texturized natural rubber, so you can choose which surface you prefer. Both sides provide excellent grip, even during sweaty hot yoga classes.

Best Rowing Machine
Hydrow Wave

For an everyday rower you’ll look forward to using, check out the Hydrow Wave. This model is a more compact version of our best upgrade pick, the Hydrow Rower, but we think the Wave is the best option for most rowers.

Despite being smaller in size, this rower doesn’t sacrifice quality. Its seat moves smoothly, the screen never wobbles, and its handle is grippy and secure. On top of that, Hydrow produces some of our favorite exercise programming. Instructors teach classes while actually rowing around the world, so you feel like you’re on the water with them. And classes have different focuses—some ramp up your speed, some use HIIT, some workshop your form—so you never get bored. For beginners and experts alike, the Wave is an excellent choice.

Best Treadmill
NordicTrack Commercial 1750 (NTL14119)

As our tester said when she first used the NordicTrack Commercial 1750, it’s the whole package. The speed ranges from 0.5 to 12 miles per hour (mph) and the incline ranges from -3% to 15%—it’s one of the few treadmills we’ve tested that goes downhill. It has a spacious belt that allows you to move freely, and a springy yet firm deck that remains sturdy during high-speed sprints and high incline treks. NordicTrack’s exercise platform, iFit, has excellent running, walking, and hiking programming to get you motivated but you can enjoy using the treadmill on your own in manual mode too.
