Working out can be a challenge. While stretching is one way to prepare yourself for a big sweat sesh, we often find that nothing gets us more in the mood than dressing for the occasion. After all, there’s something so satisfying about wearing a matching activewear set, feeling supported and secure, and like you’re ready to tackle whatever the workout has in store.
Bandier checks all of these boxes and more. The boutique activewear store has everything you need to dominate a workout, recovery, and every step of life in between (so long as you’re happy to do so while wearing top-notch athleisure). Online shopping can be stressful when you’re not fully familiar with a brand, and Bandier doesn’t have any reviews or ratings but does carry popular athletic brands. So we took the liberty of sifting through best-sellers to find 14 of the most popular things you can buy at Bandier.
1. A pair of versatile leggings
Bandier’s All Access Leggings are beloved by celebrities and everyday gals alike—and for good reason. They’re made with ultra-smooth nylon and spandex fabric that offers the perfect amount of compression. While $98 might seem like a lot for a simple pair of leggings, style editor Amanda Tarlton thinks the All Access Leggings are well worth the splurge considering how “comfortable, breathable, and flattering” they are. Given how much she and Bandier shoppers love the fabric, you’ll be glad to know that you can find them as high-waisted leggings, mid-rise leggings, capris, bike shorts, and more. It comes in women's sizes XXS to 3X.

2. A set of Bala Bangles
They’ll help elevate any workout.
There’s no doubt you’ve seen these trendy wrist and ankle weights making their way around social media. Beloved for their solid, travel-friendly design, the 2-pound weights are the perfect exercise accessory. When our style editor put Bala Bangles to the test, she liked that they were just as stylish as they appeared on Instagram. She also liked how comfortable they are to wear—no chafing, here. What she didn’t like? How they slid around a bit during HIIT workouts, but if you’re looking for a stylish (and useful) accessory for low-impact workouts, the weights are a great buy.

3. A high-neck ribbed tank top
It’s a top-quality basic.
Dubbed “The Perfect Tank,” this ribbed tank top is made with super-soft 100% cotton material and features a high-neck, collarbone-showing silhouette. It’s so beloved that the brand has released it in 17 ribbed colors, as well as 11 smooth cotton options. If you’re not big on tank tops, you can always choose from their many other silhouettes, including camis, bras, crop tops, tees, and more. It comes in women's sizes XXS to 2X.

4. A pair of sneakers designed for HIIT workouts
They’re so trendy!
These modern-looking sneakers look like something you’d find in a high-end fitness shoot or on the feet of influencers strutting through SoHo and Silver Lake. Of course, they offer so much more than their eye-catching good looks. The cushioned forefoot and heel are designed to give wearers the best bounce and stability necessary for dominating HIIT workout classes like Orangetheory, Barry’s Bootcamp, and the like. They feature a split sole to encourage easy, fluid movement between exercises, ultimately helping the wearer to move faster and more efficiently.
As someone who owns a pair of these sneakers (albeit in a brighter color), I can attest to just how stable they make me feel during my workouts. One thing I’ll mention is that, while they’re great for sprints (as they encourage the wearer to work on the balls of their feet), I wouldn’t necessarily recommend them for steady jogging (I find that they feel too heavy for that).

5. A top-rated massage gun
Best retirement gifts: Theragun Elite
Recovery is just as important as the workout itself. That’s why massage guns have become so popular, and the Theragun Elite is the best one on the market. With a quick click of a button, you can guide it all over the muscles that need it most and, depending on the massage head attachment, make it less or more intense. There’s also an app to walk you through different massages for all your muscle needs. Simply click on the muscles you want to recover and it will tell you what to do.

6. A pair of highly-rated running shoes
They’re so comfortable!
As the name implies, the Cloudswift running shoes, which are sold in three colors, will make you feel like you’re striding across clouds. Made with Helion superfoam to offer optimal comfort and shock absorption, these breathable sneakers will make you feel like you’re capable of hitting all your most idealistic PRs.

7. A pair of head-turning bike shorts
They give us Malibu Barbie vibes.
Forget about boring black bike shorts—these shiny hot pink ones are the way to go for summer 2021. Designed with a high waist, a wide waistband, and mid-thigh hem, they offer plenty of coverage and support for warm-weather workouts and jaunts around town. They’re also the short version of leggings we obsessed over (see No. 1). That said, if you love the shiny appeal but can’t get behind hot pink shorts, you can choose from two neutral shine shades, as well. It comes in women's sizes XXS to 2X.

8. A cozy cropped hoodie
You can never go wrong with tie dye.
Just because it’s almost summer doesn’t mean that sweatshirts are off the agenda. Just look for light, breathable options that can be layered for perfect comfort on cool summer mornings and chilly nights—like this one from WSLY. Made with sustainable materials, the cropped, zip-up, tie-dye sweatshirt looks great on its own or can be paired with the matching shorts for a complete set. It comes in women's sizes XXS to 2X.

9. A pair of versatile cycling sneakers
They can be worn as regular sneakers, too.
Most cycling shoes are just that: shoes designed specifically and solely for cycling. Tiem saw a gap in the industry and decided to address it with its Cycle Sneaker, a shoe that can be worn as a clip-in cycling shoe or as a standalone sneaker. I have a pair in red and swore by them when I lived in New York and would commute from my home to Flywheel every day. I would just add my clips when I got to the studio, making them just about the most convenient cycling shoe I’ve ever come across. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to buy cleats separately and these shoes run big, so you may want to size down.

10. A cute crewneck sweatshirt
It’s part of the Sincerely Jules for Bandier collaboration.
There’s nothing quite like an oversized cotton sweatshirt when it comes to getting as cozy as possible. This one from Sincerely Jules is sold in two colors, both of which feature distressed detailing along the neckline and cuffs. If a roomier fit is your goal, be sure to size up, as these sweatshirts run true to size. It comes in women's sizes XXS to 3X.

11. A pair of colorful slides
Slip into comfort and out the door.
Slides have become one of the most soughtafter shoe styles thanks to their convenient design and comfortable silhouette. If you’ve scrolled through Instagram lately, chances are, you’ve come across a pair of these Freedom Moses best-sellers, which are sold in four colors at Bandier. The waterproof shoes are washable and slip-proof, making them great for outdoor adventures, as well. Just keep in mind that while they look like they’re adjustable, the buckles are actually fixed.

12. A pair of versatile sneakers
Designed for running but perfect for every day.
These lightweight, breathable Nike sneakers, which are available in three colors, might be designed with running in mind, but they work well as an everyday shoe, too. Made with high foam soles, they claim to stay comfortable for long periods of time, making them as beneficial for half marathons as they are for full-day shopping adventures.

13. A fierce crop top
It transitions beautifully from barre to brunch.
We love workout wear that can be worn in the gym as easily as it can be on the street or in a restaurant. That’s why this tiger-striped, high-neck cropped crop top immediately caught our attention. It functions as both a sports bra and crop top. Made with nylon and spandex, the top is stretchy and form-fitting, and with princess seams, it has an undeniably elevated appeal. It comes in women's sizes XS to L.

14. A bottle of trendy, fragrance-free hand sanitizer
It’s so sleek!
Say hello to my personal favorite hand sanitizer. The sleek rectangular bottle not only gives it an elevated appearance but an easy to grip (and stow) silhouette. It’s made with 67% ethyl alcohol, is dermatologist-tested, and TSA-approved. It really doesn’t get better than that.
