Most of the year, the staff here at Reviewed spends their time either testing products or writing up articles telling readers what we think they should buy. We’re an opinionated and passionate bunch here—not afraid to tell you what we think. Now it’s time for the readers to tell us what they think.

Welcome to the 2023 Readers’ Choice awards, where we’re celebrating the top five products that readers bought based on our recommendations this year. Based on the numbers, we’ve learned that our readers are a practical bunch. They like convenience and they’re willing to pay for the best in class, but they want it at a bargain. Us too, readers. Us too.

Here are the products you chose, readers! To see what else won big this year, jump over to all the 2023 Best of Year awards for coverage.

#1 Readers’ Choice
Apple Airtag

The ultimate (minor) inconvenience is losing track of your keys, purse, luggage, or other personal item. While Apple was not first on the scene with an affordable Bluetooth tracker, AirTags won on ease of use and sheer name recognition. Our readers loved these little gadgets and scooped them up when they were discounted on Amazon Prime Days. Buy them in a 4-pack and you're basically getting one for free.

The Vive Rotating Reacher Grabber out-performed all the models we tested thanks to its rubberized U-shaped jaw and easy-to-manipulate trigger. We’re happy to know so many readers are making their lives a little easier with the Vive.

#4 Readers’ Choice
Mzoo Sleep Mask

Few things beat a good night’s sleep and our readers appear to agree, because our top-rated sleep mask was one of this year’s biggest sellers. The Mzoo was soft and comfortable—no eyeball pressure—but it had no problems blocking out the light. Plus it’s machine washable. At an extremely affordable price, it’s a compelling buy as a just-in-case item or something to throw in your travel bag for those rough nights at the hotel.

#5 Readers’ Choice
KT Thermo 3" Dial Oven Thermometer

We’ve known for a long time that Reviewed readers love to cook. The kitchen products we cover are some of our most popular stories. But few things are as fundamental as an verifiable oven temperature, and it looks like our readers want to make sure the basics are covered before they get too far into a bake. The KT Thermo is a simple yet highly effective oven thermometer, our top-rated among all those we tested. Described by our reviewer as “the Goldilocks of oven thermometers,” it’s small enough to stay out of the way, large enough to read clearly, and accurate within a huge range. And you can’t beat the two-year warranty, despite it costing little more than a loaf of bread. Happy cooking!
