Dreo, a company best known for its innovative fans, is using that technology in its latest kitchen appliances. Both air fryers and milk frothers rely on mechanisms that spin, and Dreo has particular expertise in that realm. At CES 2025, Dreo announced upgrades to two kitchen products that debuted last year.
ChefMaker 2
When we reviewed the original Dreo ChefMaker, we recognized that it was something special. Despite a bit of a learning curve, the results from its innovative CombiCook Technology were excellent. Now, Dreo has announced the ChefMaker 2 with the addition of AI Chef Assistant. Dreo says, “A combination of food science and chef mastery, this one device delivers perfectly cooked steaks, seafood, and more with just the press of a button.”
Integration with the Dreo app gives users access to a library of more than 100 recipes, as well as the ability to track the cooking process in real time. The AI Chef Assistant also includes step-by-step guidance, ingredient suggestions, and can recommend a variety of recipes that match users' dietary preferences.
Possibly the best part? Dreo says, “The system will support recipe input–from websites to images to text–and can convert them into cooking programs for ChefMaker 2.” That could significantly reduce any learning curve and make the ChefMaker 2 an easier and more intuitive countertop appliance for everyday cooking.

BaristaMaker Air milk frother
At-home coffee bars have skyrocketed in the past several years, and with that trend came hundreds of devices aimed at creating the perfect café-style coffee beverage without barista-level training. Dreo released one such appliance last year with its original BaristaMaker milk frother.
This year Dreo announced the next-generation model, powered by AeroSilk Technology and it promises to amp up café-quality milk foaming at home. Dreo says the gen 2 model will create “perfectly balanced 0.5mm microfoam ideal for both dairy and plant-based milks.” This frother offers eight beverage options: 6 milk foam variations, warm, and stir. It also features a more intuitive touchscreen display and convenient matching symbols for changing out the frothing mechanism.
