Best Stand Mixer
GE Profile Smart Mixer P8MSASS6T

For the first time, maybe, ever, we tested a stand mixer that beats out the incredibly capable and supremely popular KitchenAid. The sleek, smart, and intuitive GE Profile Smart stand mixer changed our perspective: Not only does it excel at common tasks, it boasts smart features that streamline the baking process. The integrated scale means no pre-measuring is required, and the auto sense function can detect changes in viscosity (to determine when something like egg whites have been successfully whipped) and automatically turn off the machine. It also features an intuitive touchscreen control panel and app-compatibility that changes the game for home bakers.

Best Multicooker
Ninja Foodi OL701

The Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer is a multifunctional kitchen sidekick that acts as an air fryer, pressure cooker, convection oven, slow cooker, yogurt maker, and so much more. Our favorite thing this machine does is the Steam & Crisp, where it cooks multiple layers of foods at the same time. For example, we used it to cook a dinner of salmon, quinoa, and broccoli, and the grains emerged fluffy and fully cooked while the salmon was tender with a browned crust. The built-in probe thermometer means the protein serving hits ideal doneness every time.

It is excellent at steaming and broiling, and its Speedi function can cook a multicomponent meal (starch, protein, and veggie) all at the same time in less than 30 minutes.
