Introduction

Though we didn't get hands-on time with the game, we were able to view an extensive gameplay demo and talk with Matt Firor, studio lead for Zenimax and director for TESO. The demo showed off the main concept behind the game, giving players the option of joining one of three factions: the Ebonheart Pact (comprised of Dunmer, Nords, and Argonians), the Daggerfall Covenant (Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs), and the Aldmeri Dominion (Altmer, Bosmer and Khajiit).

We also saw scenery from all across Tamriel, getting our first look at some places we haven't seen since Arenas. The demo also included a look at both public and private dungeons, real-time combat, the adventure and questing system, and a brief 200-person PVP match. There was definitely a lot to see and a lot to look forward to.
