November 16, 2006 – Sony Electronics Inc. released a special edition James Bond 007 Cyber-shot DSC-T50 camera to coincide with the launch of the new James Bond prequel, 'Casino Royale' in theaters tomorrow.  The special edition 007 T50 is now available for $599.99.

"On your next mission, snap pictures on the sly," stated the Sony Style website about the renovated camera.  For $100 more than the original price of the Sony T50, users will find the 007 logo on the front of the camera and get an included black carrying case.  Otherwise, the Sony T50 and the 007 edition are identical, carrying a 7.2 megapixel sensor, 3-inch touch screen LCD, and 3x optical zoom lens.

For serious Bond fans, consumers can upgrade to the James Bond 007 UX Spy Gear Bundle for "your next mission," as stated on the website.  Retailing at $2,999.99, the spy bundle includes the special edition T50 camera, a VAIO UX Micro PC, Aluminum attaché carrying case, and a Vaio UX Bluetooth GPS receiver – all with the 007 logo.
