Sony has added the DSC-HX7 to their feature-filled H line of point & shoot cameras, which offers a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor that allows it to shoot up to 10 frames a second. The DSC-HX7 (which replaces the HX5V) also offers a 3-inch LCD screen and can capture 1080i video. It also offers an improved auto shooting mode and a HDR mode which captures two images at different exposures and combines them to produce an image with a wider dynamic range.

The new DSC-HX7 will be priced at $299.99 when it is released in March.
