January 7, 2009* - Sony has announced two new low price point-and-shoot cameras in their Cyber-shot range. First, the S950, available in pink, black and silver for $129.99, shoots 10-megapixel images, has a 4x zoom lens with an aperture range of f/2.5 to f/5.6, a 2.7' LCD screen, and has image sensitivy up to ISO 3200. The Cyber-shot W220 comes in silver (shown), black, pink and blue, has a 12-megapixel image sensor, a wide angle 30mm lens with 4x zoom and optical image stabilization for a reasonable $189.99 price tag. Both will be available in March 2009.
