February 5, 2007* – Sigma is launching its first ever photo contest, "Faces in Nature." Contestants must submit prints under the theme of nature that were made using a Sigma lens. The contest runs until March 30, and the top three prizes are Sigma lenses.
First prize is a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG Macro zoom lens that is worth $1200. The second prize is a Sigma 12-24mm f4.5-5.6 EX DG zoom lens that is retailed at $960. Third prize is a Sigma 70mm f2.8 EX DG Macro that is worth $570.
Entrants can submit up to two film or digital prints in black and white or color. Winners will be announced on Apr. 30.
