Pretec Unveils 48GB CompactFlash Card

At the CES 2008, its not only the camera manufacturers who were seen hogging the limelight. Close to the heel of Panasonic announcing its 32GB SDHC Memory card, Pretec also unveiled its 48GB CompactFlash card.

The storage for the 48GB card is almost equivalent to 12 DVD, or 69 compact discs which means you can store up to 40,000 photos in regular size or around 12,000 songs inside. Designed with keeping the needs of the professional photographer in mind, the Pretec CF 333X is capable of running at up to 40MB/50MB per second of access speed in read.
