The ultra-zoom compact digital camera comes equipped with a 5x optical zoom lens and was found to be a great alternative to a DSLR.Images are acceptable and the camera is not complicated which makes it an ideal prosumer camera.

"The fact that the 15x zoom can be used in both video and stills modes is a bonus, and the quality of the video, although not quite full HD, is certainly better than that usually found on superzooms – and another reason perhaps for a compact user to upgrade to this model rather than a fully blown DSLR (unless going for a Nikon D90 or Canon 5D Mark II, not really the same target market)."
