July 23, 2007 – Leica today announced a firmware update for the Digital Modul R analog-digital hybrid, the first camera to combine the 35MM and DSLR formats. Version 1.3 is now available for download on Leica's website.
The latest firmware improves color rendering on the camera’s display and exposure adjustment. SD cards with FAT 32 systems are now compatible with the Digital Modul R, and image reproduction and functional features are expected to show improvement.
