line - with today’s launch of the Photosmart Mz67 digital camera. The 8-megapixel point-and-shoot carries a 6x optical zoom lens and standard HP built-in editing features. The HP Photosmart Mz67 will retail for $199.99 when it hits North American retail shelves in August.
The new HP Mz67 is a first for the manufacturer, touting a higher 6x optical zoom HP Precision lens verses the 3x optical zoom lenses offered on the rest of HP's Photosmart line. The camera offers a 2.5-inch LCD display, an anti-shake mode, and HP's in-camera Design Gallery so users can add colors and borders to their photos.
Other built-in editing functions include red-eye removal and HP Photosmart Share that prepares images for e-mail. The HP Photosmart Mz67 has 16MB of internal memory and is Windows Vista-compatible.
