March 23, 2007 - HDRsoft released an updated version of Photomatix Pro, a dynamic range increase software that produces high

dynamic range (HDR) images.
Photomatix Pro 2.4 features include an option to reduce ghosting artifacts, undo and redo options on the Tone Mapping window, and a gamma slider for the Details Enhancer method. A number of bugs from the previous version were also resolved.
HDR imaging increases the dynamic range of an exposure by combining several photographs of a high contrast scene taken at different exposures. Photomatix Pro and similar software automate the blending process.
Photomatix Pro retails for $99. For more information and to download a free trial version, visit hdrsoft.com.
