November 14, 2006* – Fujifilm and Walgreen Co. announced yesterday that users of Fuji’s photo website www.yourpix.com can now pick up their photos from 5,500 Walgreens locations across the country.
"A child’s birthday party photos sent through one of Fujifilm’s partners from Chicago can be picked up the same day by the grandparents in Florida at their local Walgreens," stated yesterday’s press release.
Fuji’s "Get the Picture Online Service" allows users to send photos from their phone or desktop to their local print retailer.
Walgreens is the nation’s largest drugstore chain, according to the release. Last year, the retailer partnered with HP-owned Snapfish for the same pick-up option. In the last two years, Fuji has partnered with Ritz Camera, Sam’s Club, and Wolf Camera.
