Panasonic has released a firmware upgrade for the LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm f/1.4 lens. The update enables the contrast AF with DMC-L10 (The firmware of DMC-L10 should be Ver.1.2 or later) and is available for both Mac and Windows operating system. According to Panasonic when one uses contrast AF, focusing time is longer than phase difference AF, however this is not a malfunction.
