Digital Outback Photo took the Nikon D3 for a test drive and calls the camera "solid" and "extremely responsive". Image quality was excellent and the camera doesn’t disappoint event at higher ISOs. DOP did have some minor gripes, which included the inability to activate a grid in the viewfinder like with the D300.
