July 14, 2008 - Casio total announced the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z150, offering a 4x optical zoom in a wafer-thin .79-inch body. The camera is pocket-size petite (3.81 inches wide, 2.26 inches tall, weighing 4.44 oz.), yet still provides a 3-inch LCD, a first for the EXILIM line. Sensor-shift anti-shake technology is built in, along with face detection and voice recording.
The EXILIM EX-Z150 provides 22 image presets (which Casio calls Best Shot modes), including a dedicated YouTube video mode. The zoom lens ranges from 28-112mm (35mm equivalent), designed to handle scenic shots and close-quarters photography.at the wide-angle setting.
The camera will come in five colors, conservative black and silver, intense red, pink and green, when it ship in September for $199.99.
