The Delicia Drench Body Butter is the newest addition to Sol de Janeiro, not to mention the latest iteration of the brand's beloved body butter lineup—they're the makers behind the cult-favorite Bum Bum Cream. It's described as having a "whipped" texture and claims to help the skin barrier "lock in moisture and relieve extra dry skin." Bacuri butter and hyaluronic acid serve as the body butter's hero ingredients. Bacuri butter aims to revive the skin barrier while hyaluronic acid intends to supply the skin with hydration.
What does the Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Body Butter smell like?
In addition to its skin-soothing properties, Delicia Drench wants to make you smell good via its Cheirosa 59 fragrance, a self-described "woody gourmand" scent. The scent is comprised of notes of velvet plum, sugared violet, vanilla orchid, whipped amber, sheer sandalwood, and fresh vetiver. It's meant to embody "the emotion of winding down after a perfect beach day. Evocative notes are elevated with exquisite florals, while juicy plum brings a bold, creamy touch," says Sol de Janeiro perfumer Jerome Epinette via press release.
