There's a lot happening at QVC right now. From the Pride Month collection highlighting queer brands and donating to the Trevor Project to Vanessa Bayer's segment in conjunction with her new series I Love That For You, the retailer has a ton of great events this summer, including the Beauty with Benefits event.
The beauty event, which has been featured at QVC and HSN for a decade, is designed to raise money for Cancer and Careers, a nonprofit that supports cancer survivors. We've broken down more information about the event, as well as what brands you can shop through the event, what you might have access to if you get the free gift, and more.
What is the Beauty with Benefits event?
Having run for a whopping ten years now, the Beauty with Benefits event at QVC celebrates and supports the work of Cancer and Careers, a nonprofit that provides workplace assistance for cancer survivors. When you buy from the event's selection, a minimum of 70% of the proceeds from your purchase goes to Cancer and Careers. Since the program's start, Beauty with Benefits has raised $14.5 million for Cancer and Careers across QVC and HSN.
The event runs from now until July 31, but some of the products are already out of stock, so if you want to participate you may want to browse the selection sooner rather than later.
What makeup and skincare products can you get through the collection?
When you shop the event, you help contribute to the work the organization puts in by purchasing products from over 50 leading brands that donated product for the event, among them Tarte, TULA, Mally Beauty, Peter Thomas Roth, and more.
While supplies lasts, you can also get a gift box with your purchase. I received my own gift box to check it out; the box contains TULA skin treatment pads and WEN tea tree oil, as well as assorted other products (I also got a Tarte Sea Surfer Curl mascara, a Mally Beauty lipstick, Peter Thomas Roth SPF skincare, a makeup brush, and more). You can also get Philosophy products, which our beauty editor recommends, like the Purity facial cleanser. Of the offerings in the box, my favorites were the Sea mascara and the Mally Beauty lipstick, both of which I would purchase again (the Mally lipstick is currently unavailable).
Some of the top-rated products in the selection include the Kate Somerville Kx Ceramides and Omegas Serum, which is on sale for $69 and features hydrating ingredients designed to protect your skin. You can also find Peter Thomas Roth skincare, like the Vital-E Microbiome Age Defense Cream, which is on sale for $53.
