At this afternoon's Casio press conference, the company unveiled its newest flagship in the Exilim lineup: the EX-ZR100. This spiritual successor to the EX-FH100 is a step-up model from the ZR10, announced at Photokina.

In its third CES-related announcement in one week, Samsung unleashed one more point-and-shoot camera into its 2011 lineup: the WiFi-enabled SH100.

Fujifilm continued to roll out the latest in its 2011 FinePix lineup, with some high-end ultrazoom cameras and the sleek Z90. The S2950, S3200, S4000, and Z90 should appeal to more gadget-savvy consumers, with some exciting hardware additions and a slew of added features.

The newly announced Ricoh CX1 compact camera features a Smooth Imaging Engine IV processing engine and a CMOS sensor for high-speed image processing.
