Jill is a freelance food writer based in coastal New Jersey with a full time gig as the GM of a lively food hall near the Jersey Shore. As an avid home cook and toting her Masters in Gastronomy from Boston University, she has always based her life around seasonal, local food and recipe writing. From running events in an oyster bar to working farmers' markets in NYC and becoming a local fishmonger, her culinary knowledge spans a breadth of categories, making her a dynamic, engaging gastronome.

Her work and recipes have been featured in The Boston Globe, GBH Craving Boston, and her personal blog, Recipes By Jill. She has recipe tested for a wide array of cookbook authors and has had a few of her personal recipes featured on Food52. In her free time, you can find Jill shucking oysters, cooking for her family, or sampling fancy ice cream.
